Sports

I have been involved in many different sports in my life. Sports have taught me many different lessons like teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, pride and other things along those lines. It has also taught me how things don't always go my way but I just have to take it in stride and keep my mouth shut sometimes. Not only have sports help me become who I am today but they have also introduced me to new people and helped me to make many new friends.

Skiing

Recently, I went skiing for the first time. I had a blast and it was so much fun. Even though I was the only one who hadn't been before and I was always the last one to get to the bottom, I am really glad I tried it. I love to try new things all the time. I don't always like the new things I try but if I never tried anything new then I wouldn't know how much fun some things can be. Now that I have tried skiing I know how much fun it can be and want to go again sometime.

Flip Flops :)

No matter what season it is I love to wear flip flops. People think I'm crazy when I wear flip flops during the winter when there is snow on the ground but I don't see anything wrong with this. I absolutely despise wearing shoes. Flip flops are the closest thing I have found to not wearing shoes at all. They make my feet feel free and they match everything. I am a very independent person and I like the feeling of doing things myself and being free, just like I like my feel to be free in flip flops.

Horsey's!!

Horses are amazing animals and they have taught me many things. It amazes me that no matter their size they obediently listen to their riders who they could easily crush if they wanted to. To control these 1,000-1,200 lbs. animals takes only slight pressure and the right position of the rider. This is why I fell in love with horses. They could do whatever they wanted to but instead they choose to obey our commands and do everything we ask. The main thing I have learned from horses is trust; without a bond of trust we would never be able to ride these wonderful creatures.

Never Enough Time

It always seems to me that there isn't enough time to do everything I want to do. Even when I have something very simple and quick to do I never have time to get it done. Now that swimming is over I thought I would have more time to do things but it turns out to be the complete opposite! If only summer was here and school was over I would have tons of time to do anything and everything I need and want to do. I know one day I'll miss this and want to be back in high school but for now all I want is for it to be summer.
